A Dream Come True
If you had told me a few years ago that we’d have a storefront on Main Street, I don’t know that I would have believed you.
Heirloom didn’t start as a shoppe. It really started as a feeling… first as a little girl who dreamed of owning a shoppe some day. And honestly, as an adult, that dream was fed more by a bit of real-life frustration.
My husband and I had been building and remodeling homes for almost 15 years. When I would shop for furnishings to fill our newly designed and finished homes with, I would usually feel disappointed in what I would find. I wanted access to things that carried more value. Things that had stood the test of time. Things that felt timeless, meaningful, like they actually belonged in a home that would be lived in and loved for years. And so much of what I kept finding felt fast, trendy, or disposable. It didn’t feel like something you’d hold onto… or pass down.
I kept coming back to this idea: home should feel like it has a story.
Not perfectly styled. Not rushed. Just layered, collected, and meaningful over time.
That’s where Heirloom began.

Why Heirloom?
The name was never random to me.
An heirloom is something you keep. Something you care for. Something that gets passed down because it matters.
That’s exactly what I wanted this to be. Not just a shoppe where you come in and buy something, but a place where you find pieces that become part of your life… your home… your story.

The Shield
With this next chapter, we created a new logo that includes a shield, and that felt just as important as the name.
For me, the shield represents protection. Strength. Covering.
Your home should be a place that feels safe and grounded. A place where your family is held and nurtured. And on a deeper, more spiritual level, it represents God’s covering over this whole journey. Because truly, this hasn’t been something we’ve built on our own.
There have been so many moments along the way where it felt like this was being carried for us by the One who holds all things together.
Doing this with Mom
One of the most special parts of all of this is that I get to do it with my mom, Caressa.
I honestly don’t know how I would do this without her.
She’s the one keeping everything steady behind the scenes: handling the financial side, helping me think through decisions, jumping in as my design assistant, and making the shoppe feel so beautiful with her merchandising and styling. She has such a gift for that.
And she’s also just… my support. In every sense of the word.
I tend to be the one with the big vision. I see the whole thing in my head – how it should look, how it should feel, how everything flows together. I source the pieces, I buy, I design each space from start to finish.
And then I try to translate that vision so you can walk in and immediately feel it.
But she’s the one who helps bring it down to earth and actually make it happen. She is the styling QUEEN!
We balance each other in the best way. And I am so thankful for her.

What This Space Will Be
Moving to Main Street is allowing us to finally bring all of this together in one place.
And I don’t want it to feel like a typical store.
I want it to feel like you just walked into a home.
My interior design studio will be tucked right inside the shoppe, so when we sit down together to talk about your home, you’re surrounded by real, tangible inspiration… not just samples and screens.
And then all around that, the shoppe will be built out into spaces:
A living room that feels warm and inviting.
A dining space that feels ready for people to gather.
A bedroom that feels calm and restful.
Kitchen shelving layered with those everyday pieces that somehow make life feel more intentional.
Everything is designed and styled the same way I approach a client’s home – thoughtfully, with a focus on timelessness and that sense of heritage.

What I Hope You Feel
More than anything, I just want you to feel at home when you walk through the doors.
Not like you need to rush.
Not like you’re just there to buy something.
But like you can slow down, look around, and feel inspired.
Whether you’re shopping for your home, your wardrobe, a gift for someone special, or you’re just stopping in, I hope something about the space makes you think, this is what I want my home to feel like.
Right Now
We’ve been in the thick of renovations for weeks now… and it’s a process, to say the least. There have been moments where it feels like it’s flying, and moments where it feels like it’s dragging.
But I can finally start to see it coming together.
And I honestly cannot wait for you to see it.
We’re hoping to open our doors on Saturday, April 11th. Of course, with construction, there’s always a chance of delays, but we’ll keep you updated as we get closer!

This space means so much to us.
Not just because of what it is but because of what we hope it becomes.
A place you return to.
A place that inspires you.
A place that feels like home.
I can’t wait to welcome you in.
Warmly,
Jessa

Thank you, Breigh. I am SO excited for you to see it! Thank you for your prayers and support.
When my friend, Diana, and I stopped in the shoppe a few weekends ago, we both were amazed with everything. We had that feeling – like we were at home, even though we live in different cities and have different styles. We slowed down. We felt inspired. I want to come back, to see the new shoppe on Main Street, and to watch Heirloom grow. So thankful to meet Caressa during our stop.
Stephanie, I can’t tell you how much your words warmed my heart! That is exactly how we want everyone to feel when they walk through the doors. We will be so happy to welcome you both back in to the new shoppe on Main Street. I look forward to meeting you!
